We are Patrícia and João Câmara and together we have created the Quilómetro Infinito travel blog. This is our space for sharing adventures, photos, routes and lots of tips so that all our trips, big or small, can inspire you all. The world is beautiful. Dare to come and explore it without reservation. We have already traveled thousands of kilometers by motorcycle, and we intend to travel many more, as long as our strength allows.
We bought our first motorcycle in 2010 and found it to be our favorite way to travel. After a few short rides around our beautiful country, we challenged our limits on a trip beyond our borders. We were on our honeymoon, riding through the Alps and along some of the most fabulous roads in the world. We came back amazed and have never stopped since.
May this be a little corner that inspires you to set off on many journeys on wheels. Traveling by motorcycle is our passion, so we often lose ourselves around the world in search of the best roads and the most fantastic places on a motorcycle itinerary. Patrícia Câmara, the rider pillion
Patrícia Câmara, 39, has a degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Aveiro. She has always loved maps, travel, photography, reading and writing. She married João Câmara and surrendered to motorcycle travel after a few adventures! She organizes her small or large trips and prepares all the itineraries in intensive mode: where to go, what to see, where to sleep, how many kilometers, where to stop to change tires, etc. Whichever little road appears on the map, the aim is to take it. On his return, he shares everything on the Quilómetro Infinito blog. She doesn’t ride a motorcycle, nor does she want to just yet (she might not even get her feet on the ground)! She’s a 100% committed commuter.
João Câmara, the driver
João Câmara, 39, has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico. A convinced “petrohead”, it was on 2 wheels that he found his favorite way to travel… and to travel a lot! To feel and experience travel. He likes all motorcycles and if he could, he would have a huge collection, but it was his BMW R1200RT that he found the ideal companion to travel the endless kilometers with his wife. Trip sequence? Patrícia studies the route, João enters it into the GPS and heads off to do what he loves most: ride his motorcycle. He’s a driver with many kilometers on the road.
